2. If you have bars on your windows, people can’t break into your house.
            A. Having bars on your windows, people can break into your house.( sai vì khác chủ từ mà lại rút gọn)
            B. Having bars on your windows prevents people from breaking into your house.
            C. Having bars on your windows prevents people not breaking into your house.( sai vì dư not)
            D. Having bars on your windows, people can’t break into your house.
Prevent + người + Ving : ngăn không cho ai làm gì đó ( trong bản thân cấu trúc này đã mang nghĩa "không" rồi nên không dùng not nữa) => loại câu A và C .Câu A thì sai nghĩa so với câu đề cho. Chị cũng lưu ý là câu đầu chỉ bỏ chủ từ được khi nào chủ từ 2 câu giống nhau.
Ví dụ:
When Mary met me, I gave her a book.
=> Meeting me, I gave her a book. Sai, vì chủ từ 2 câu khác nhau
when I saw the dog, I ran away
=> Seeing the dog, I ran away. Đúng, vì chủ từ 2 câu giống nhau

Chị nhớ khi only đứng đầu thì có đảo ngữ là đúng rồi đó, tuy nhiên only nếu có cụm từ theo sau thì phải đi với hết cụm từ rồi mới có đảo ngữ nhé
